It’s going to be a warm and smoky day in the Denver metro area, according to the National Weather Service.
The temperature will reach a high of 86 with smoky conditions expected during the day Monday. Winds may gust upward of 15 mph.
It will cool off in the evening, dropping to 57 with partly cloudy skies.
Tuesday could see a high of 83 with a slight chance of showers between noon to 3 p.m. There’s a chance of thunderstorms rolling in later in the afternoon. The evening will cool off to 56.
Sunny skies with highs in the 80s are expected through the rest of the work week with lows falling to the mid 50s.
